So many of our "bad" habits actually do something positive for us at some level.  They help us to feel secure or relax or be alert or manage social anxiety or __fill in the blank___. Because, if they never had any benefits to us, we never would have developed them in the first place.  If you're anything like me, as you're watching this video, you're thinking of one of your bad habits.  Here's one way to start to challenge them: Answer the question "what does this habit do for me?"

 

If we can start to answer this question, we're already on our way towards a path for change.
